EXPERTISE
Maria Odom brings her years of success and experience in the area of
deportation defense to lead Kuck Casablanca & Odom, LLC's Litigation Group in the
21st Century immigration arena. A former partner at Antonini, Odom &
Sullivan, LLC, Ms. Odom is well known for her work in complex asylum
matters, high-profile immigration removal cases, and cancellation of
removal litigation. She has testified as an expert in Federal and State
criminal trials and has served as counsel in Federal Court litigation
matters, both in District Court and in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
In addition to her widely respected litigation practice, Ms. Odom
represents clients in family and employment-based matters. Ms. Odom
is a Mentor on removal matters to fellow immigration attorneys nationwide,
as well as a frequent faculty member at legal education seminars.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Ms. Odom is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Immigration
Lawyers Association. She is a former U.S. District Counsel for the legacy
Immigration and Naturalization Service and an alumnus of the U.S. Department
of Justice Honors Program.
